ScopeFreeze
ScopeFreeze is a web app (with a lightweight Slack integration) that helps product and engineering teams create roadmaps that don’t collapse the moment new requests arrive. Instead of pretty timelines, it enforces “scope budgets” per quarter and makes every new request pay a visible tradeoff: what gets delayed, de-scoped, or re-staffed. Teams define capacity (people, weeks, focus factor), then map initiatives to that capacity with confidence ranges. When stakeholders push changes, the app generates an impact report and a decision log so the roadmap stays defensible. It’s not trying to replace Jira/Linear; it sits above them and pulls high-level effort signals to keep planning honest. The goal is fewer fantasy roadmaps, fewer surprise slips, and fewer political fights—by making constraints explicit and auditable.
