ScopeLatch

ScopeLatch is a web app (with Slack/Teams integration) that turns messy collaboration into enforceable commitments. It watches key workstreams—tickets, docs, and chat threads—and detects when requirements shift, decisions get reversed, or “quick asks” quietly become major work. The app creates a lightweight Decision & Scope Log per project: what was agreed, by whom, when, and what changed. When new requests appear, it prompts a one-click “Impact Check” that estimates timeline/cost impact and routes it to the right approver. It also generates a weekly Scope Drift report for leads, highlighting unapproved changes and unresolved decisions. This is not a project management replacement; it sits on top of Jira/Linear/Asana/Notion/Google Docs and focuses on preventing silent changes. Expect some false positives early; the value is catching the expensive misses.
