ScopeLedger is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) that focuses on one ugly reality of project portfolio management: uncontrolled scope changes silently destroy capacity plans, budgets, and delivery dates. Instead of trying to replace your PPM suite, it sits alongside Jira/Azure DevOps/ServiceNow and becomes the system of record for “scope events” (new requirements, priority shifts, dependency changes). It auto-detects change signals from tickets, PRDs, and meeting notes, then forces lightweight approvals with impact estimates on cost, timeline, and resource load. Executives get a portfolio-level “scope volatility” dashboard and a weekly digest that highlights which initiatives are drifting and why. The goal is not perfect forecasting—it’s early warning and accountability, so leaders can cut, defer, or fund changes before teams burn out and delivery slips become irreversible.
