ScopeLock
ScopeLock is a web + Slack/Teams app that forces clarity on work requests and makes overwork visible in plain numbers. It turns every incoming task into a lightweight “work contract”: expected outcome, priority, deadline, dependencies, and an estimated effort range. When someone changes requirements or adds “quick” extras, ScopeLock flags it as scope creep and asks for one of three choices: adjust deadline, drop something else, or approve overtime explicitly. It auto-generates a weekly “capacity vs. commitments” report for each person and team, showing what will realistically fit. This isn’t a wellness app; it’s a boundary-enforcement tool that creates receipts and makes tradeoffs unavoidable. It also provides a simple escalation path: if a manager keeps pushing impossible loads, the system documents it and suggests a renegotiation script and meeting agenda.
