ScopeLock

ScopeLock is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that turns messy client requests into enforceable, trackable scope. Freelancers paste a client email/chat thread, and the app extracts deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, timelines, and acceptance criteria, then generates a clean Statement of Work and change-order workflow. When clients ask for “one more thing,” ScopeLock drafts a polite change request with impact on price and deadline, and logs approvals. It also provides a simple client portal: what’s included, what’s pending, what’s out-of-scope, and what approvals are needed. This is not another generic proposal/invoicing tool; it’s narrowly focused on preventing unpaid work and reducing client conflict. Integrations: Gmail/Google Docs, Slack, and Stripe for deposits. The goal is fewer awkward conversations, fewer surprises, and faster payment with clearer boundaries.
