ScopeLock

ScopeLock is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps independent consultants protect their time and margins by turning messy client requests into enforceable, trackable change orders. It generates a clear statement of work from a short intake, then monitors ongoing communication by letting you forward emails/meeting notes into a “Scope Inbox.” When new requests appear, ScopeLock flags them, estimates impact (hours, cost, timeline), and produces a one-click change order for client approval and e-sign. It also keeps a lightweight audit trail: what was agreed, when, and by whom. This isn’t a full project management suite; it’s a focused “scope firewall” that integrates with the tools consultants already use. The goal is simple: fewer awkward conversations, fewer unpaid hours, and faster approvals when work expands.
