ScopePing is a web app (with optional lightweight vendor portal) that automates Scope 3 data collection from suppliers and service providers without pretending to “solve carbon” magically. It sends structured requests, tracks follow-ups, and accepts evidence (invoices, utility bills, shipment docs, EPDs) to support auditable calculations. The product focuses on the most painful part of Scope 3: getting usable, defensible activity data on time. It includes a simple emissions engine for common categories (purchased goods, logistics, business travel) and flags low-quality inputs so sustainability teams can prioritize outreach. It integrates with procurement and AP systems to pre-fill vendor lists and spend categories, reducing manual spreadsheet work. It’s an AI+traditional app: AI helps classify documents and map line items to emission factors, but users can override everything for compliance.
