ScopeShield

ScopeShield is a web + mobile app (traditional + light AI) that standardizes the inspection scope before the inspector ever arrives. Buyers, agents, and inspectors pick a property type and add-ons (sewer scope, radon, mold screening, roof drone, thermal scan), then the app generates a plain-English scope sheet, pricing expectations, and a pre-inspection checklist tailored to the home’s age, region, and disclosed systems. During the inspection, the inspector checks off what was actually performed, attaches photos, and the buyer signs a completion summary. The goal isn’t to replace inspection reports—it’s to prevent the common fight: “I thought that was included.” AI is used only to translate technical scope items into consumer-friendly language and flag mismatches between selected scope and uploaded evidence. This reduces disputes, re-visits, and refund requests, which are real operational costs for inspectors and real stress for buyers.
