ScopeShield

ScopeShield is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps freelancers and small agencies prevent scope creep and get paid for changes. It turns a proposal/SOW into a trackable “scope checklist” with deliverables, assumptions, and acceptance criteria. During the project, clients can request changes through a simple portal; the app auto-flags whether the request is in-scope, out-of-scope, or ambiguous, then generates a change order with price/time impact and a one-click approval + e-sign. It also logs decisions, files, and messages into an audit trail so disputes are easier to resolve. This is a traditional app with AI features: AI suggests missing assumptions, detects scope drift from messages, and drafts change-order language, but the freelancer stays in control. The goal is fewer awkward conversations and fewer unpaid hours.
