ScopeSlicer

ScopeSlicer is a web app (with optional Jira/ADO add-ons) that helps QA leads and product teams create realistic test plans by automatically mapping requirements to risk-based test scope. You paste or connect user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes; the app extracts testable statements, flags ambiguity, and proposes a minimal-but-defensible test matrix (features x platforms x data x integrations). It then estimates effort using your historical velocity (or a simple baseline model), highlights scope creep, and produces a plan artifact you can export to Confluence/Markdown. It’s not a magic “write all tests” tool—its value is in forcing clarity, surfacing missing info early, and giving stakeholders a transparent tradeoff view (what gets tested vs. deferred). The MVP focuses on planning outputs and traceability, not full test execution management.
