ScopeSlip
ScopeSlip is a web app (with lightweight Slack/Teams integration) that keeps project timelines honest by continuously recalculating dates when scope, staffing, or dependencies change. Instead of another Gantt chart builder, it sits on top of tools teams already use (Jira, Linear, GitHub Projects, Asana) and converts live work signals into a rolling forecast: “If we keep shipping at this rate, milestone X moves to Y.” It highlights which dependencies are actually blocking, flags hidden work-in-progress overload, and generates a weekly timeline brief for stakeholders. The AI component suggests the smallest set of changes (drop/defers, staffing shifts, dependency reorder) that gets you back to target dates, but it always shows the assumptions and confidence. This is not for perfect plans; it’s for teams tired of timelines that are outdated the moment they’re published.
