ScopeSnap is a web app with a companion mobile scanner that helps small and mid-sized companies produce defensible carbon and emissions reports without hiring a consultant. Users forward invoices, upload utility bills, and scan receipts; the app categorizes spend, maps it to emissions factors, and generates Scope 1/2/3 estimates with a clear audit trail. It’s not magic: it won’t perfectly measure every supplier’s footprint. Instead, it focuses on “good enough, explainable, and compliant” outputs—activity data where available, spend-based estimates where not, and a confidence score for every line item. Exports include CSRD/ESRS-friendly tables, supplier request emails, and a monthly emissions dashboard tied to cost centers. The goal is to reduce reporting time from weeks to hours and make the uncertainty explicit so users don’t get burned by greenwashing claims.
