ScopeSnap is a web app (with optional mobile receipt capture) that helps small-to-mid businesses produce defensible Scope 1–3 emissions reports using the data they already have: invoices, utility bills, freight docs, and spend exports. It combines traditional rules-based mapping (vendor/category to emission factors) with AI-assisted document extraction and categorization, then generates an audit trail showing exactly how each number was derived. The product focuses on “good enough to comply” rather than perfect science: clear assumptions, versioned emission-factor libraries, and a review workflow so finance/procurement can approve mappings. Exports include CSRD/SECR-friendly summaries, supplier outreach lists, and month-over-month variance explanations. Realistically, it won’t beat enterprise ESG suites on breadth, but it can win on speed, transparency, and price for companies that are now being forced to report by customers, banks, or regulation.
