ScopeSnap

ScopeSnap helps homeowners and small contractors create a usable renovation scope of work from a guided photo walk-through. You take room-by-room photos and answer a few structured prompts (demo, finishes, fixtures, constraints). The app generates a plain-English scope, a materials allowance table, and a bid-ready checklist you can send to multiple contractors so quotes are comparable. It also flags common ambiguity traps (e.g., “paint walls” without prep level, trim type, sheen, number of coats) and suggests clarifying questions before you sign anything. This is not a magic estimator; it won’t reliably price complex jobs. Instead, it reduces the back-and-forth that causes change orders and blown timelines by standardizing what’s being asked for. Deliverables export to PDF and shareable link, with version history so changes are explicit.
