ScopeSync
ScopeSync is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that helps interdisciplinary teams align early by turning a messy research idea into a shared “scope contract.” Users answer a short structured intake (goals, constraints, methods, data, ethics, timelines). The app then generates a one-page scope map: key terms with definitions, assumptions, required expertise, likely failure points, and a minimal viable study design. It also highlights “discipline gaps” (e.g., you need a statistician for power analysis, an IRB specialist for human data, or a domain expert for measurement validity) and suggests concrete next steps and questions to ask. This is an AI-assisted product, but it’s grounded in checklists and templates so it doesn’t pretend to replace real expertise. The output is exportable to PDF/Notion/Google Docs and can be versioned as the project evolves.
