ScoreSlicer is a web + mobile AI app that helps music students and teachers turn sheet music into structured, measurable practice. Upload a PDF score (or MusicXML), pick an instrument, and the app automatically segments the piece into short “micro-passages” based on musical phrases, tricky rhythms, leaps, and key changes. It generates a daily practice plan with tempo ladders, repetition targets, and quick self-check prompts. Students record short takes; the app gives basic, realistic feedback (timing stability, note density hotspots, and consistency), not magical “perfect pitch” claims. Teachers can assign specific slices, set due dates, and review progress without listening to entire recordings. The goal is to reduce wasted practice time and make lessons more accountable, while staying simple enough that schools can actually adopt it.
