ScreenSplit
ScreenSplit is a web app (with an optional mobile companion) for indie distributors and exhibitors to forecast opening-weekend and week-to-week box office using real pre-sale and showtime signals, not just gut feel. It connects to ticketing/point-of-sale exports and public showtime listings, then normalizes data across theaters, formats, and regions. The app highlights where demand is spiking (or collapsing), recommends screen allocations and showtime density, and flags cities where marketing spend is being wasted. It also generates a simple distribution “health dashboard” for each title: pre-sale velocity, comp-title curves, occupancy by daypart, and cannibalization between nearby theaters. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional analytics for reliable reporting, plus lightweight forecasting models to project revenue ranges and confidence intervals. The goal is fewer bad booking decisions and faster course-correction during release windows.
