ScribeSync

ScribeSync is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for people who work with digital sacred texts and need reliable, citation-ready outputs. It lets you import multiple editions/translations (public domain or licensed), align passages side-by-side, and generate stable citations with version fingerprints. The core value is text integrity and traceability: every excerpt you export includes edition metadata, checksum, and a reproducible reference link so readers can verify what you quoted. It supports common workflows like sermon prep, academic writing, interfaith study groups, and publishing. This is not a “read the Bible/Quran/etc.” reader—those are saturated. It’s a tool for comparing, tracking, and citing. AI is optional and constrained: it can suggest alignments and summarize differences, but it must always point back to exact source lines and edition IDs to avoid hallucinated theology.
