ScriptSentry

ScriptSentry is a web app + lightweight desktop agent that monitors your automation scripts (cron jobs, PowerShell, Bash, Python, RPA runners) and tells you when they silently fail, run long, or produce suspicious outputs. Instead of building yet another automation platform, it focuses on the ugly reality: most teams already have scripts everywhere, with zero observability. The agent wraps existing scripts with minimal changes, captures exit codes, runtime, logs, and optional output checks (row counts, file sizes, API status codes). It then alerts via Slack/Teams/email and provides a simple timeline view of runs, failures, and regressions. It also includes “runbook” links and a one-click rerun button for supported environments. This is a traditional app with a small AI component for log summarization and suggested fixes, but it’s useful without AI.
