SeaMeatLog

SeaMeatLog is a mobile + web app that helps households and small food businesses track meat and seafood from purchase to plate. You scan receipts or barcodes, choose cut/species, weight, and packaging type, then the app creates a simple inventory with “use-by” guidance and thaw/cook reminders. It supports splitting bulk packs into portions, labeling (QR codes you print), and logging when items move from freezer to fridge. The AI layer reads messy receipts, guesses product details, and suggests safe, realistic timelines based on storage method and temperature assumptions (with clear disclaimers). The goal is not gourmet recipes—it’s reducing spoilage and “mystery freezer” losses. It also generates a weekly “use next” list and a shopping list that avoids overbuying. Monetization: freemium for households; subscription for small caterers, meal-prep shops, and fishmongers needing basic stock rotation.
