SeaPermit

SeaPermit is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that centralizes environmental permitting and compliance for tidal and wave power projects. It turns scattered obligations—marine mammal monitoring, noise limits, seabed disturbance, fisheries liaison, navigation notices—into a single, auditable workflow. Users upload consent conditions and survey reports, then the system generates a compliance calendar, evidence checklist, and regulator-ready monthly packs. An AI assistant extracts obligations from PDFs, flags missing evidence, and drafts plain-language updates for stakeholders. This is not a magic “approve permits faster” tool; it reduces the real operational drag: missed deadlines, inconsistent documentation, and expensive rework during audits. It also supports multi-site portfolios, contractor access, and change logs so teams can prove what was done, when, and by whom. The goal is fewer compliance surprises and faster internal decision-making.
