SeatPulse

SeatPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for indie distributors and small-to-mid theater chains to forecast opening-week demand and optimize showtimes and local promo spend. It pulls in public signals (trailer velocity, social chatter, Google Trends, local event calendars, weather, school holidays) and combines them with a theater’s historical sales to predict attendance by daypart and screen. The app then recommends showtime grids, screen allocation, and “minimum viable marketing” actions per location (e.g., which ZIP codes to target, what creative angle to test, when to drop ticket promos). It also tracks presales and updates forecasts daily, flagging underperforming locations early so teams can pivot instead of wasting print/digital budget. This is not a magic box for blockbuster studios; it’s a practical decision tool for operators who currently rely on gut feel and spreadsheets.
