SeatSentry is a web-based SaaS platform that helps companies cut software spend by identifying unused or underused user seats across common tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Notion, etc.). It connects via OAuth/admin APIs, pulls last-activity signals, and flags licenses that haven’t been used within configurable windows. The app then automates the workflow: notify managers, request justification, reclaim seats, and track savings over time. It also handles joiner/mover/leaver events by syncing with your HRIS/IdP to auto-provision or deprovision access and prevent “ghost users.” This is not a magic AI cost-cutter—most savings come from clean data and consistent enforcement—so the product focuses on reliable integrations, audit trails, and simple policies. AI is used sparingly to summarize anomalies and draft stakeholder messages, not to guess usage.
