SeatShift helps van and minivan shoppers verify real-world fit for people, car seats, strollers, and cargo—before wasting time at dealerships. Users pick a vehicle (or scan a VIN listing), then build a “loadout” with passenger heights, booster/car seat models, stroller types, and common cargo (coolers, luggage, sports gear). The app generates a practical fit report: third-row access score, car-seat compatibility warnings (LATCH positions, tether anchors), estimated behind-third-row cargo, and “can I do this trip?” scenarios. It also suggests alternative trims/models that solve the specific constraint (e.g., three-across car seats, wheelchair-friendly entry, or maximum cargo with seats up). It’s not magic: results are based on a growing library of measured interior dimensions, user-submitted measurements, and structured reviews, with clear confidence levels and caveats.
