SeatSignal
SeatSignal is a mobile + web app that shows real-time “how busy is it” and “can I actually sit and work” status for third places like cafes, libraries, hotel lobbies, and coworking-adjacent venues. Users check in with one-tap signals (seats available, noise level, outlet access, Wi‑Fi quality), and participating venues can optionally add verified data via a lightweight dashboard. The app focuses on practical workability: table availability, outlet density, music volume, and time limits—things Google Maps doesn’t reliably answer. It also includes “work-mode filters” (quiet calls, deep work, group chat) and a simple reliability score so you can trust a location’s data. This is a traditional app with a small AI layer that predicts near-future crowding from historical patterns and local events, but it doesn’t pretend to be magic—if there’s no data, it says so.
