SeatSignal is a mobile + web app that helps diners access last-minute openings at high-end restaurants while helping restaurants quietly fill premium inventory. Restaurants post time-sensitive availability (including chef’s counter, tasting menus, and wine-pairing slots) with rules like minimum spend, deposit, or prepay—without publicly discounting their brand. Diners set preferences (city, cuisine, budget, party size, dietary needs) and get real-time alerts when a matching table drops. The app also supports concierge-style requests for members, but the core is automated: verified availability, clear terms, and fast checkout. This is not a generic booking app; it’s focused on “hard-to-get” fine dining where no-shows and late cancellations are expensive and where diners are willing to commit financially for certainty. Realistically, supply is the hard part—so the product is built around restaurant tools and incentives first.
