SeatSnap
SeatSnap is a web + mobile app for teachers that turns seating charts into a behavior and learning lever without extra paperwork. Teachers snap a quick attendance/behavior check each period, and the app recommends small seating adjustments based on observed disruptions, peer conflicts, and support needs (IEP/504 flags, vision/hearing notes, proximity preferences). It also handles the unglamorous stuff: instant random calling, timed transitions, group formation, and a simple “move seat” workflow that logs changes for admin/parent questions. This is an AI-assisted app: AI suggests seating changes and groupings, but the teacher always approves and can lock constraints (keep X apart, keep Y near front). It integrates with Google Classroom and common SIS exports so rosters aren’t a nightmare. The goal is fewer disruptions and less time wasted rearranging seats manually.
