SeatSnap is a mobile AI + traditional app that helps parents verify car seat installation and harness fit using guided photos and short videos. The app walks you through vehicle-specific steps (seat belt vs LATCH, recline angle, tether routing), then analyzes what it can (harness height, chest clip position, visible slack, obvious twists) and flags what it cannot reliably judge (tightness, hidden routing) with clear “you must physically check” instructions. It generates a simple checklist report you can save, share with a caregiver, or bring to a CPST appointment. SeatSnap also tracks seat model, child stats, and expiration/recall alerts, and provides “next steps” when your child outgrows a stage. It’s not a replacement for a certified technician; it’s a practical pre-check tool that reduces common mistakes and caregiver inconsistency.
