SeatSwap is a mobile + web app for people who already have experience tickets (concerts, sports, theater, tours) but can’t use them and want a fast, safe way to transfer them to someone nearby. Instead of trying to be another massive marketplace, it focuses on verified transfer flows and rapid local matching within a tight time window (e.g., 72 hours before start). Sellers list with a “proof-of-transfer” method (Ticketmaster/AXS transfer, PDF validation rules, or venue-specific steps), buyers pay into escrow, and funds release only after successful transfer confirmation. It also supports “split plans” (one friend bails, re-sell a single seat) and “price-drop autopilot” to avoid eating the full cost. Realistically, margins are thin and customer support is heavy, so the MVP should start with a few ticket ecosystems and one city to prove repeat usage.
