SediSnap

SediSnap is a mobile + web app that helps environmental consultants, construction inspectors, and watershed groups document erosion and sedimentation issues with consistent, audit-ready records. In the field, users take photos, tag location, pick a standard issue type (rill, gully, bank failure, silt fence breach, turbidity plume), and generate a structured report with measurements, severity, and recommended controls. The AI component suggests classifications and pre-fills notes from images and voice dictation, but the workflow stays human-verifiable to avoid “black box” liability. Back at the office, a web dashboard aggregates sites, trends, and compliance timelines, exporting to PDF and client templates. This is not a research-grade geomorphology suite; it’s a practical documentation and reporting tool that reduces rework, missed details, and inconsistent field notes—where most real-world projects actually bleed time and money.
