SeedLedger

SeedLedger is a lightweight breeding and plant genetics record system for small-to-mid labs and breeding programs that are stuck between spreadsheets and enterprise LIMS. It lets users register germplasm/lines, plan and record crosses, attach sample IDs, and import genotyping results (SNP arrays/GBS/amplicon panels) to compute simple QC and selection summaries. The focus is not heavy bioinformatics; it’s operational clarity: who crossed what, which samples were sent, what results came back, and which individuals advance. It includes barcode-ready sample sheets, audit trails, and shareable read-only links for collaborators. It’s a web app with optional mobile-friendly views for greenhouse/field data entry. An AI assistant can map messy CSV headers to the right fields, flag likely sample swaps/outliers, and generate concise “selection decision” notes, but users keep final control.
