SensoryRecipe is a mobile app that gives parents and early educators quick, safe, low-mess sensory play “recipes” tailored to a child’s age, sensitivities, and available household materials. Instead of endless scrolling for ideas, you answer a 60-second setup (age, allergies, mouthing risk, noise tolerance, cleanup tolerance, materials on hand), and the app generates 5–10 minute activities with step-by-step prompts, a timer, and simple language you can read aloud. Each activity includes a safety checklist, cleanup plan, and skill focus (tactile tolerance, fine motor, cause-and-effect, calming). It also supports “plan B” swaps when a child refuses a texture. The app tracks what worked, what caused dysregulation, and gradually builds a personalized play profile. This is not therapy, but it can make sensory play more consistent, less stressful, and easier to repeat.
