SensoryScout

SensoryScout is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps parents and early-childhood educators quickly pick sensory play activities matched to a child’s age, sensitivities, and household/classroom constraints. Instead of generic lists, it asks a short profile (age, mouthing risk, noise tolerance, texture aversions, allergy notes, cleanup tolerance, available materials) and outputs a small set of realistic activities with step-by-step setup, safety notes, and a “bail-out plan” if the child melts down. It includes a simple progress log (what was tried, what worked, what triggered) and generates a weekly rotation to avoid repeating the same bins and rice trays. The AI component is limited and practical: it adapts suggestions to your inventory and constraints, and rewrites instructions into “1-minute setup” versions. Monetization: freemium with a low-cost subscription for rotations, logs, and multi-child profiles.
