SensoryTimer

SensoryTimer is a mobile app for parents and early-childhood educators who want low-prep sensory play without scrolling through endless ideas. You pick a goal (calm-down, focus, tactile exploration, movement break), the child’s age, and what you already have (rice, water, playdough, towels, bins). The app generates a short “sensory circuit” of 3–5 stations with exact timers, setup steps, safety notes, and a cleanup plan. A simple on-screen timer guides transitions so adults aren’t constantly negotiating “one more minute.” After each session, you log what worked (mess level, engagement, regulation) to build a personalized library of repeatable routines. It’s realistic: it prioritizes activities that can be set up in under 5 minutes and cleaned in under 10, because that’s the real constraint for most families and classrooms.
