SentiScope

SentiScope is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps laboratory animal facilities detect early welfare and health problems using lightweight daily observations instead of expensive new hardware. Technicians log quick check-ins (activity, posture, coat, respiration, food/water, enrichment use) with optional short video clips. The AI flags abnormal trends at the cage/room/strain level and suggests what to verify next (e.g., dehydration check, bedding change, HVAC review) while keeping humans in control. Supervisors get a prioritized “rounding queue” and audit-ready reports aligned to common welfare scoring practices. The goal is not to replace veterinary judgment; it’s to reduce missed early signals, standardize observations across shifts, and create defensible documentation for IACUC/AAALAC reviews. Realistically, adoption depends on seamless workflows and minimal extra clicks—so the MVP focuses on speed, not fancy dashboards.
