SepsisClock
SepsisClock is a web + mobile AI app that continuously monitors inpatient vitals, labs, and nursing notes to flag patients trending toward sepsis and recommends the next best actions based on local protocols. Instead of blasting generic alerts, it produces a time-based risk trajectory (e.g., “risk rising fast in last 3 hours”) and highlights the specific drivers (lactate trend, MAP, WBC shift, new oxygen requirement). It integrates with the hospital EHR via HL7/FHIR, supports unit-specific thresholds (ED vs ICU vs med-surg), and routes actionable notifications to the right role (nurse, resident, rapid response). The MVP focuses on explainable risk scoring, protocol checklists, and audit-ready documentation of when signals appeared and what was done. This is not a magic diagnosis tool; it’s a workflow and prioritization layer designed to reduce missed deterioration and speed treatment.
