SeriesSmith

SeriesSmith is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for self-publishing authors who write in series and struggle with release planning, pricing, and read-through. It connects to Amazon KDP and other storefront exports to ingest sales, KU page reads, ad spend summaries, and promo calendar data. The app builds a realistic release roadmap: when to publish the next book, when to run promos, and how to price backlist to maximize series read-through rather than single-book revenue. It also flags common series-killers: long gaps between releases, weak Book 1 conversion, inconsistent metadata, and mismatched cover signals. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps generate actionable experiments (price tests, blurb tweaks, promo timing) but the core value is analytics and workflow. It’s not a magic “sell more books” button—just a disciplined planning tool that reduces costly trial-and-error.
