SeriesSwoon

SeriesSwoon is a mobile + web app for romance and genre readers who constantly lose track of interconnected series, reading orders, and character crossovers. Instead of generic shelves, it focuses on “universes”: series, spin-offs, novellas, bonus epilogues, and anthologies, with clean spoiler controls. Users can follow an author or universe and get alerts when a new installment drops, when a paperback finally releases, or when a bonus chapter is posted. An optional AI layer can auto-detect reading order from blurbs and publisher metadata, then suggest the safest next book based on what you’ve finished—without revealing plot points. Monetization is realistic: freemium tracking, plus a subscription for advanced alerts, universe maps, and bulk import/export. This won’t replace Goodreads; it wins by being narrower, faster, and built specifically for romance/genre series behavior.
