SermonForge

SermonForge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps Reform rabbis and cantors draft, refine, and source-check divrei Torah and High Holiday sermons. It’s an AI-assisted writing workspace tuned for Reform Judaism: it suggests outlines, pulls relevant Torah/Haftarah connections, and offers modern commentaries and social-justice framing prompts—while forcing citations and letting clergy control tone. The app includes a “community sensitivity” checklist (inclusive language, interfaith families, Israel/Palestine nuance prompts, trauma-aware wording) and a built-in review flow so a trusted colleague can comment before delivery. It also generates short versions for newsletters, social posts, and teen programs. This isn’t a magic sermon button; it’s a structured drafting and editing tool that reduces blank-page time and improves consistency, especially during peak seasons when clergy are overloaded.
