SeroSignal
SeroSignal is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps local and regional public health teams detect abnormal disease patterns earlier by aggregating de-identified lab test feeds and producing simple, defensible alerts. It focuses on the unglamorous but common reality: messy data, delayed reporting, and understaffed epidemiology teams. The app ingests HL7/FHIR lab messages or CSV exports, standardizes test codes, deduplicates records, and generates baseline-adjusted anomaly flags by geography, facility, and syndrome group. Users can annotate signals, attach investigation notes, and export a one-page brief for leadership. It’s not a magic “predict outbreaks” tool; it’s a workflow product that reduces time spent cleaning data and arguing about whether a spike is real. Built-in audit trails and configurable thresholds help teams trust and defend decisions.
