ServiceLedger is a mobile + web app that helps buyers and sellers of vintage and pre-owned watches verify maintenance history and reduce expensive surprises. Users create a “service timeline” for a watch by uploading invoices, photos, and serial/reference details. The app then requests verification from participating watchmakers/service centers (or independent shops) who can confirm the job, date, and parts replaced—without exposing sensitive customer info. For shops, it’s a lightweight portal to issue signed digital service receipts and optionally offer warranty terms. For buyers, it produces a shareable link and a tamper-evident PDF report to attach to listings. This is not a magic authenticity detector; it’s a practical record system that makes honest watches easier to sell and risky watches harder to misrepresent. Monetization: seller reports, shop subscriptions, and transaction add-ons.
