SesshinLog

SesshinLog is a web + mobile app for Zen/Chan centers to manage sesshin (retreat) operations end-to-end: applications, work assignments, meal/dietary needs, attendance, dokusan/meeting queues, and incident notes. Most small sanghas still rely on Google Sheets, paper forms, and ad-hoc messaging, which breaks down during multi-day retreats when roles rotate and information changes fast. The app provides a single source of truth for organizers and key staff, with a simple participant view for schedules, announcements, and assigned duties. It also includes templated retreat “runs” (3-day, 7-day, Rohatsu) so a center can reuse what worked last time. This is not a meditation timer or content library; it’s boring operations software tailored to a niche that actually pays when it reduces volunteer burnout and prevents costly mistakes (missed dietary restrictions, wrong duty rosters, lost payments).
