SessionScribe

SessionScribe is a web + mobile app for spiritual directors and directees to keep sessions organized without turning spiritual direction into therapy software. Directors can capture structured session notes (with optional templates by tradition), set gentle follow-up prompts, and track themes over time (consolation/desolation, practices tried, commitments made). Directees get a private journal space and can share selected entries or “highlights” before a session, reducing wasted time and awkward memory gaps. The app includes consent-first sharing, encrypted storage, and a simple scheduling + reminders layer (not a full practice-management suite). An optional AI assistant can summarize a directee’s shared entries into a one-page “prep brief” and suggest reflective questions, but it never pretends to be a director and can be turned off entirely. This is realistic, lightweight, and built for trust.
