SetpointIQ

SetpointIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that connects to existing building systems—BMS/BAS via BACnet/IP where available, or smart thermostats and lighting controllers via common APIs—to find and fix energy waste in HVAC and lighting. It continuously flags the boring, expensive problems facilities teams miss: simultaneous heating/cooling, schedules that run nights/weekends, stuck dampers, over-ventilation, short cycling, and lights-on-after-hours. The app turns findings into prioritized work orders with estimated kWh and dollar impact, and verifies savings after changes. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules and baselines for reliability, plus AI to summarize anomalies, explain likely root causes, and draft technician-ready action steps. This is not a “magic optimization” product; it’s a practical detection-and-follow-through tool that pays back by reducing waste and preventing comfort complaints.
