SetpointOps

SetpointOps is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for microgrid operators to manage, audit, and safely roll out control setpoints across DER controllers (gensets, inverters, BESS, load banks). The core problem is “configuration sprawl”: settings live in vendor portals, spreadsheets, and tribal knowledge, leading to silent drift, nuisance trips, and painful commissioning rework. SetpointOps provides a single source of truth for setpoints, version control, approval workflows, and scheduled deployments with rollback. It ingests telemetry to detect when real-world behavior deviates from intended settings (e.g., droop curves, SOC limits, protection thresholds) and flags risky changes before they hit production. This is not a magic autonomous controller; it’s operational tooling that reduces human error, shortens troubleshooting, and makes compliance reporting less miserable for teams running multiple sites.
