ShabbatSync
ShabbatSync is a mobile + web app for Reform Jews who want consistent, meaningful Shabbat without feeling judged or overwhelmed. Users set preferences (home ritual vs. synagogue, Hebrew comfort level, music style, dietary choices, family setup, travel schedule), and the app generates a simple Friday-night and Saturday flow: candle lighting, short readings, optional blessings, discussion prompts, and a realistic “good enough” checklist. It also pulls local candle-lighting times, suggests nearby Reform services/events, and lets households share a plan so everyone knows what’s happening. This isn’t a theological debate app; it’s a practical weekly planner that reduces friction and decision fatigue. Monetization is straightforward: freemium for individuals, plus a synagogue plan that lets clergy and educators publish weekly “community Shabbat packs” members can adopt or remix.
