ShadeLedger is a mobile + web app that helps buyers and resellers verify luxury sunglasses and accessories using a structured, evidence-based workflow. Users scan the item (photos + short video), capture key markers (hinges, engravings, serial formats, lens etching, packaging), and receive a risk score plus a checklist of what matches or looks off. The app also generates a shareable “Proof Pack” (time-stamped media, seller chat export, receipt fields) that can be attached to listings or disputes. It’s not magic: it won’t guarantee authenticity, but it will dramatically reduce obvious fakes and bad purchases by forcing the right documentation and highlighting inconsistencies. Monetization is per-verification, reseller subscriptions, and optional escalation to paid human experts for high-value pairs. Focus is on the secondhand market where trust is weakest and mistakes are expensive.
