ShadeReceipt is a mobile + web AI app that helps luxury beauty shoppers pick the right foundation, concealer, and tinted products with fewer returns and less guesswork. Users scan their face in consistent lighting, then scan a product’s barcode or upload a product page screenshot. The app builds a personal “shade profile” and compares undertone, depth, oxidation risk, and finish across brands—especially useful when luxury counters are unavailable or intimidating. It also stores purchase receipts, batch/PAO dates, and return windows, so you don’t miss deadlines on expensive mistakes. The reality: shade matching is messy and brands are inconsistent; ShadeReceipt won’t be perfect, but it can be materially better than guessing from influencer swatches. Monetization is a paid subscription for advanced matching + a retailer affiliate layer, with optional brand partnerships for verified shade data.
