ShadowMirror

ShadowMirror is a mobile + web AI-assisted shadow work journal that focuses on one thing: helping users unpack emotional triggers into actionable patterns. Users log a moment (jealousy, rage, shame, avoidance), answer a short guided sequence, and the app generates a structured “shadow hypothesis” (core fear, unmet need, protective behavior) with a suggested micro-experiment for the next 48 hours. It also tracks recurring themes over time (e.g., rejection sensitivity, control, perfectionism) and shows progress with simple trend lines rather than vague wellness scores. This is not therapy, and it won’t pretend to be; it’s a self-reflection tool with guardrails, crisis resources, and an option to export summaries to a therapist or coach. The app wins by being practical and measurable, not mystical or fluffy.
