ShadowScribe
ShadowScribe captures tacit knowledge by quietly observing real work and converting it into usable SOPs, checklists, and decision trees. It runs as a desktop app (with optional browser extension) that records user-approved screen activity, app context, and short voice notes during tasks like quoting, troubleshooting, month-end close, or customer escalations. After each session, an AI pipeline drafts a step-by-step playbook with “why” annotations, common pitfalls, and escalation rules, then routes it to a reviewer for quick edits and publishing. The system indexes playbooks by tools used (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, Jira), customer type, and outcome, making it searchable when someone gets stuck. The brutal truth: this only works if it’s frictionless and safe—so it must be opt-in, redact sensitive fields, and prove it saves time within the first week, or teams won’t adopt it.
